Throughout the week, some seedy Trees have surfaced in FarmVille. Even I, Farmer Zoop, was caught off-guard by a scam promoting this latest Tree, and I’m about as watchful of scams as a hunting dog is of quail. It can happen to the best of us, right?
The scam-worthy Tree is question, you ask? The brand new Candy Apple Tree, a delicious new arborist’s dream that has a wonderful, slender body and wispy branches that almost passes for your everyday Tree until you notice that the bark contains swirls of crimson. This is one of the reasons that we love this Tree so much, because it doesn’t feel entirely committed to being a wacky Tree or a real Tree. It’s nice for those of you who try to keep your farm on the “real” side of things but want to let your imagination grow a little bit. It can be obtained for 5 FV Cash, and we recommend it.
Similarly, the Level 2 variation of the Candy Apple Tree is the Giant Candy Apple Tree, the source of all the scams that have popped up over the past week now. It is available for 10 FV Cash. You can get one of those large puppies for free if you purchase the smaller version and grow some Mystery Seedlings in an Orchard containing only the Candy Apple Tree. Both the Level 1 and Level 2 versions of these Trees have the same core statistics: 150 Coins per harvest once every couple of days and 75 harvests to reach the first stage of Tree Mastery. For once in a long, long time, we prefer the Giant version to the regular sized Tree; it just looks better as a bigger specimen.
