New Items: Kangaroo & Joey, and Polar Bear Cub

Author Major Category , ,

Let’s say dear ol’ Mom is big on something a little cuddlier than Magnolia Trees. Well, you might find some luck under the Animals tab!

null

First up is the lone new addition under the Animals tab for the week, but it truly is a memorable entry for that mother-and-offspring bond. After all, how much closer can you get to your Mom than living in a pouch designed to hold you? Thank goodness humans aren’t like that, that’d be way too creepy. This is the Kangaroo & Joey combo, which you can purchase as of right now for 16 FV Cash, the perfect price for a pair of adorable new exotic Animals. The Joey sticks its head out from the pouch while the Mom simply waits around, likely waiting to yell at Dad. We recommend this one. And yes, a normal Kangaroo, which looks different in color, was previously available in FarmVille.

null

And here is our returning item from yester-year, the long lost Polar Bear Cub from back during the Earth Day celebration. We guess this revival from the Market graveyard is in honor of giving Mom a cuddly teddy bear – only this one is near extinction. Still, it seems slightly out of place during a Mother’s Day theme, don’t ya think? Regardless, it is a cute, albeit curious entry into this specific theme. You can own this little guy for 22 FV Cash, the same as when it was originally introduced.

Are you buying either of these items this week, or are you saving your Cash up?

New Items: Magnolia Tree and Purple Magnolia Tree

Author Major Category , ,

Along with the brand new Pink Carnation Crop that is available for a Limited Time, there are a brand new pair of Trees on the Market, to boot!

null

This is the Magnolia Tree, and it certainly looks different from the previously-released pink Magnolia Tree from yester-year. That Tree, of course, could not be collected from, meaning it could not be Mastered. This new Magnolia Tree is fully Masterable, and is white with a very slight purple hue. Simply put, this is a must-own Tree for fans of Mastery in any variety. We specifically love the light tint of the bark, which looks entirely original. This might be the best Tree in all of FarmVille, truthfully. It costs 5 FV Cash and is worth every dollar.

null

The Level 2 edition of the Magnolia Tree is the Purple Magnolia Tree. Remember where we stated that the Level 1 Magnolia Tree had a purple hue? Well, it becomes the predominant color is its evolved form, bursting with glorious color to make a memorable Tree. The bark on this version is slightly darker, but certainly just as vibrant as a whole. These Trees are the bee’s knees, if you don’t mind our rhyming compliments. They both share the usual Limited Edition stats: 75 harvests to the first level of Mastery, takes two days to be ready and gives you 150 Coins per harvest. This one will cost you 10 FV Cash.

Our verdict is clear: these are two of the best Trees in FarmVille’s history.

New Items: Humming Birds, Mom Day Gnome, and More

Author Major Category , , ,

Finally, amidst all of the cool Mother’s Day items lies an incredibly beefy Decorations tab! Let’s take a looksee.

null

Now this is a cool Decoration. This is dubbed the Humming Birds, and is definitely worth taking a gamble on. This one has the coolest animations we have seen for an animal in years – possibly ever – as the hummingbirds truly look as if they are real with their jagged movements and sharp turns. Three hummingbirds hover over this Decoration, varying in color between green, red, and blue, and zip around gleefully. This is unique and absolutely gorgeous, making it one of the best Decorations in months. It’s available for 12 FV Cash, and is definitely worth the admission price.

null

What better way to thank Mom than with a butler to serve her breakfast in bed? Well, he might be a tiny, inanimate Gnome, but we suppose it’s the sentiment that counts, right? While you surely cannot afford the task of hiring a real butler, this Mom Day Gnome may have to suffice. As you can see, he is carrying a tray containing juice, a sandwich, and a lovely vase of flowers. This one will cost you only 10 FV Cash, down from the usual 15-18 FV Cash that Gnomes usually cost. You’ll get 1,000 EXP for the purchase.

null

Next up, we have a couple of Decorations that vary in price range. On the left is the Dahlia Flowerbed, a beautiful flower that’s cozy inside of a square, pink base. We love the variety in these flowers, but every time we see a brand new flower used in a Decoration, we can’t help but want it as a Crop. It costs 5,000 Coins. To the right is the Mom’s Gift Basket, which is available for 1 FV Cash this week. This is a nifty option for those of you who feel the need to cheer up a friend, buy something as a “Get Well” present, or just flirt with a neighbor, providing multiple uses for a simple Decoration.

null

For some less ambiguous items on the Decorations tab this week for Mother’s Day, we have the Mom Day Sign II to the left and the Mom’s Day Sign to the right. The funny thing here is that the FV Cash entry, the Mom’s Day Sign, is nowhere near as cute or cool as the Coin option, the Mom Day Sign II. As you can see, some adorable birds are cuddling above the word “Mom” on the Mom Day Sign II, which is available for 80,000 Coins this week only. The Mom’s Day Sign is available for 2 FV Cash, and features a nice variety of in-game flowers surrounding a big heart. We much prefer the Coin option to the FV Cash option!

That concludes tonight’s update. We will be working on that piece regarding FV addiction tomorrow, so stay tuned for that!

New Items: Exmoor Pony and Hereford Cow

Author Major Category , ,

Elsewhere in tonight’s Market update, we’ve got a few interesting Animal selections.

null

This is the brand new Horse on the Market this week, the Exmoor Pony. This one, as you can tell by both the looks and the name, resembles the Dartmoor Pony that was released not too long ago. It is not the same exact model, however, as this one looks a little less cartoon-y and features less shag on the ‘do. It is a Pony, which means it is a relatively small Horse by most comparisons. It will cost folks 24 FV Cash, which is a reasonable price for a cool, new Horse. It does produce its own Foal, to boot. Give this one a try if you’re a Horse lover.

null

Likewise, it seems that a brand new Cow has hit the Market, as well. Horses and Cows are a key ingredient to FarmVille’s addicting success, so it’s nice to see two new ones that are not buried within the Mystery Game. This is the Hereford Cow, which incredibly closely resembles one of our all-time favorite Cows, the Simmental Cow – it’s just missing the bell around its neck, a key component to its ensemble. Unfortunately, we feel like this new Hereford Cow is a bit on the bland side, what with its basic Cow pattern and all. It resembles the average FarmVille Cow, just on the Simmental Model. We cannot recommend this new Cow due to this and the hefty price tag of 22 FV Cash, one that we would usually pay without question for Cows; unfortunately, this time around it looks a little too similar to its brethren.

Keep it dialed in to FarmVille Post!

New Items: Castle Tower and Knight’s Store

Author Major Category , , , ,

What better way to kick off the awesome Buildings tab update than with a cool new Coin item?

null

If there is one thing we hear from our readers more than anything else, it is that they want more items available for Coins in FarmVille. We also love it when our readers have a reason to smile, hence why we’re always super stoked to present you with good news: here is the awesome Castle Tower Building, available strictly for 250,000 Coins. This cool structure can be placed in back of smaller Buildings to look as if it is an incredibly tall tower that overlooks your farm in attachment with whatever you place around it, making it ideal for layering your farm and manipulating the view of your property. Yes, it can be rotated, and it will give you 2,500 EXP for the purchase.

null

Now, if you’ve got some FV Cash to burn and you’re in the market for a new decorative Building to throw on your farm, there are certainly worse options than the Knight’s Store, the latest storefront in the English Countryside theme. This one has the usual Shakespearean design gracing the trim of the outer walls of the Building, but the main draws here are the large crest that sits atop the second floor and, of course, the pair of knights in armor that protect the front door. Hey, now that’s what we call home security! This one costs 20 FV Cash, which seems about right. It can be rotated, and it’ll give you 2,000 EXP upon purchase.

The Decorations tab is up next, followed by the Mystery Game!

New Items: Hawthorne Tree and Midland Hawthorne Tree

Author Major Category , ,

On the eve of President Obama’s announcement that the United States has killed terrorist leader Osama bin Laden, it seems a little hollow to be speaking of virtual animals and crops. Tonight marks the end of an era for world history, so please take a little time to reflect on those we have lost over the past decade due to the monstrosity who has been confirmed to have perished.

null

Back to the world of virtual farming, it seems a couple of new Trees have hit the Market tonight. We are straying from the make-believe Trees in favor of some new real-life ones, including the Level 1 Hawthorne Tree. This wicked little Tree is stout and spreads off into many directions almost similarly to a Bonsai Tree. Of course we are excited about this new entry into FarmVille due to it being a cute addition, as well as a cheaper alternative since it costs 5 FV Cash. We were beginning to become upset by the rising cost of Trees, but it seems as if the trend has been quelled.

null

This little devil began popping up in the Mystery Seedlings this week, so you may have seen it on a neighbor’s feed or something similar. This is the Midland Hawthorne Tree, one of the few Limited Edition Level 2 variations that are like its Level 1 counterpart. Rather than branching out sporadically, this one seems to cut off like a fork in the road. The growing greenery also resembles puffy clouds rather than your typical Tree design. We actually like this design more than its Level 1 iteration, but still recommend buying the Level 1 and growing your own in the Orchards. It costs 10 FV Cash and shares the same stats as the Hawthorne Tree: 150 Coins per harvest, which is once every two days, and 75 harvests to reach level one of Mastery.

Keep it tuned to FarmVille Post throughout the night!

New Items: Misty Lake, Black Knight Gnome, and More

Author Major Category , , , ,

To conclude the new Market items tonight, let’s take a look at the new Decorations before wrapping up our coverage with the Best Of Mystery Game!

null

Let us begin with the most expensive option exclusively under the Decorations tab tonight in the Misty Lake. This is one of the better Decorations to surface throughout FarmVille in recent memory. We’re fans of beds of water for our personal farm, so we’re slightly bias in calling this one original; sure, it is a relatively plain lake, what with the usual fare surrounding the water itself in trees, rocks, shrubs, etcetera, but the cool thing that pictures cannot convey is how sleek the fog looks as it lingers over the water, shuffling back and forth. This is a great Decoration for 18 FV Cash, but features no rotation due to the cool animation. It’ll give you 1,800 EXP upon purchase.

null

Elsewhere on the FV Cash front is a new addition to the Gnome collection, albeit one that is of the painted-over variety. Everybody knows and loves the Knight Gnome, but this one is his dark brethren in the Black Knight Gnome, a legendary warrior who is both feared and revered amongst his peers. Lots of rhymes aside, we do enjoy this paint job of a Gnome. It costs 15 FV Cash, and is definitely worth it if you’re a Gnome collector. After all, who doesn’t love the black knight?

null

This is the premium Coin item of this Sunday’s update on the Decorations, the Court Yard Fountain. It may seem like a trivial complaint, but we feel as if the animation of the rolling water from the fountain looks a little off; we like the actual design of the water, which looks cloudy due to the concrete fountain’s interior, but it seems a little fake when it’s in motion. Still, the design looks vintage English with the stone lions overlooking the flowing waters. It costs 120,000 Coins and gives the user 1,200 EXP for the purchase.

null

To conclude the Decorations tab, we will take a look at both a new awesome Coin item and a great new fence. To start, the Castle Wall is the perfect gating to house in anything Castle-related, or even your Home farm’s normal look, if you’re adamantly against the inclusion of ivy or any type of moss growing on the fencing. It’s clean, it’s gorgeous, and it’s 10,000 Coins per slice. As for the Lion Stature, it is the perfect complement to the many free Quest statues that you receive during your English Countryside questing adventures. Might we recommend placing it alongside a museum-type of Building? It costs 50,000 Coins, so the option to place multiples on your farm is certainly there.

The Mystery Game review is coming up!

New Items: Star and Camo Rams, and Welsh Corgi

Author Major Category , ,

We beat up on FarmVille pretty badly the other night in our article on the “illegal” Sheep Breeding cut-off, and we feel it was justified. However, it seems that Zynga is doing the right thing by correcting the majority of the issues caused by the blocking of breeding Star and Camo Sheep with this release…

null

On the Market as of late last night is two “new” Rams: the Star Ram and the Camo Ram. Now, this may not seem like noteworthy news, but hear us out: with the arrival of these two Rams to the Market, you can continue breeding Star and Camo patterned Sheep! No, you do not have to buy a thing, you can instantly begin making those two patterns once again since they are released and no longer deemed “illegal.” Should you purchase these Rams, they will cost you 30 FV Cash each, but if you’ve already got some of your Star or Camo Rams handy from their “illegal” phase, they will still work properly in your Sheep Pen.

null

The Knight Steed has returned to the Market for 26 FV Cash, but we have already covered that when we broke the exclusive news on its arrival to FarmVille. Instead, let’s talk about the other addition to the Animals tab, the Welsh Corgi. For those of you who are into the Dogs in FarmVille, this new addition does not require any Treats or any such similar item. It works exactly like any other Animal in FarmVille, in that it can be collected from upon purchase – in this case, for 18 FV Cash. We’re not sure why this one is not a member of the FV Dogs, though we are guessing it may have something to do with the fact that the Dogs’ purpose is a little archaic by today’s standards, what with the whole Farmhands being so readily available and all.

What do you think of these new additions?

New Items: Romantic Cottage, Wedding Fountain, and More

Author Major Category , , , ,

There are a lot of returning items in FarmVille with the arrival of the Enchanted Love theme, as well as some new ones. Let’s take a look at both the Building and Decorations tabs in one post for a change, due to the smaller amount of new stuff.

null

The only new item in Wednesday’s Market update under the Buildings tab is the Romantic Cottage, a cutesy, homey addition to the Market. This is a very soft Building on the eyes, with easy browns and tans to look at, which blend nicely with the pink flowers that grace the topiary surrounding the Building. We particularly enjoy the threshold that sits at the doorstep, covered in beautiful roses. This is a plain Jane type of Building, and the price is too steep at 20 FV Cash, but it’s very cute. 2,000 EXP will be awarded to those who purchase this rotatable structure.

null

A pairing of returning Gnomes is also on the Market, but they are of the old sort. On the new side of Decorations, we have a new Coin item that is quite bulky: the Wedding Bouquet. This is a very large rendition of what we typically think of when we hear “wedding bouquet,” right? It is due to the excess flowers, as well as the podium they rest atop. This is a cute addition to your farm if you’re recently wedded or to be wedded, as well as if you’re just nutso about flowers. It costs 100,000 Coins.

null

Back to the FV Cash items for the week, the Wedding Fountain is easily our favorite Decoration of the week’s update, clocking in at 7 FV Cash so it can technically, by FV Cash standards anyway, be affordable. It is a white fountain that is held up with purple-lined pillars and adorned with a pair of lovebirds at the top. White roses line the bottom of the structure, as the animated water flows down the multi-tiered decoration. If you buy this one, it will give you 1,200 EXP.

null

If the Wedding Bouquet is too large for your farm, you can try the lesser-expensive option, which is the Wedding Flower Pot. It is a gold flower pot containing beautiful red and white flowers springing out of greenery, sitting upon a pristine pedestal. It costs 20,000 Coins. If you’re looking for something new to fence in your items, the Wedding Fence provides a solid white surface with big pink ribbons draped along it. Each piece of fencing costs 5,000 Coins.

What is your favorite item this week?

New Items: Wedding Tree and Giant Wedding Tree

Author Major Category , ,

It’s a grand wedding celebration! We had to run to the store for FV Cash cards, but we are back and ready to roll out our reviews of tonight’s items.

null

Let’s begin with what is sure to be a top seller this week, the Wedding Tree. It comes along under the guise of the Enchanted Love theme, celebrating the wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton. This particular Tree is one of much beauty, as it is a purple-pink hybrid in color and grows glorious beads of pristine white when it is ripe. This one is a fantastic make-believe Tree in the land of FarmVille, but we dislike the 7 FV Cash it requires in order to obtain it – this seems to be a new trend, and if there is one thing we dislike, it is higher prices.

null

Oh boy. If there are two things we dislike, they are higher prices and Giant versions of Trees. If you want to combine those two things we dislike, it is higher prices on Giant Trees, and this one falls under that category at 12 FV Cash instead of 10 FV Cash. We always put up a fuss, even if it’s over a measly 2 FV Cash — hey, it adds up! The Giant Wedding Tree shares the same statistics as its Level 1 counterpart, as they both give you 150 coins over the course of two days and require 75 harvests to reach the first level of Mastery.

We like the smaller one best, as always. Stay tuned for more reviews throughout the night!

New Items: Wedding Cake, Wedding Carriage, and More

Author Major Category , ,

One last overhaul to the Market has come in the guise of Decorations, and once again it celebrates the upcoming marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

null

We suppose the best way to start anything off is with a little bit of cake, so let’s get to tonight’s premium Enchanted Love item that is available strictly for Coins. This is the Wedding Cake, and it’s a good thing that we are not attending the wedding, as we might just shove our face in this thing the minute we’d walk through the door. Hey, we do love cake. This is a standard, non-animated Decoration available for 100,000 Coins, which is good for 1,000 EXP for those of you who are looking for a quick boost to reach the next level.

null

As for the week’s premium FV Cash item, it is the latest in the long line of carriages in FarmVille’s history. We have never been huge on carriages, since they generally take up a lot of space and cannot be rotated due to the slight animations that they have, but this one’s done a decent job of exceeding our expectations. The Wedding Carriage costs 18 FV Cash and gives the usual amount of EXP you would expect in 1,800. We like the White Roses attached to the front of the carriage, as they provide a nice touch.

null

Elsewhere on the FV Cash side of things is the Wedding Swing, a brand new Decoration in the Enchanted Love theme. What is strange about this one is both the complete lack of animation (it is a swing, after all, so we assumed it would swing) and the fact that it cannot be rotated despite the aforementioned lack of animation. It is still quite pretty, with regal purple cushions and solid gold frame, and beautiful flowers strung around the decorative piece. It costs 7 FV Cash and will give you 700 EXP if you purchase it.

null

Finally, we have a couple of Coin items that can be used to decorate and spruce up your farm in various ways. The previously-launched Rose Petals are wonderful items to throw around your farm to give it a little added flair, and can be purchased for 2,000 Coins each. The Wedding Archway will go perfectly with the Groom and Bride Gnomes, if you managed to get and save them from Valentine’s Day. Otherwise, it might look a little out of place. It costs 50,000 Coins.

The Mystery Game review is coming up next!

New Items: Royal Horse and Royal Guard Duck

Author Major Category , , ,

Tonight’s Market update brings several goodies along for the ride with the Enchanted Love theme, which is a thinly veiled theme surrounding the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

null

We are receiving some Horse royalty in tonight’s update, or so it seems. This is our favorite Horse in a long time, which says a lot since there have been some mighty fine Horses since the English Countryside arrived. This black and white marbled Horse is dubbed the Royal Horse, and features a royally embroidered saddle made of gold and red colors – it even produces its own Foal, which wears the saddle, too. We really love this one and give it our highest recommendation, even for 26 FV Cash. Our favorite part may very well be the furry legs on this one; it’s really cute.

null

Elsewhere on the Market pond is the one to protect the Queen and all of her glory: the Royal Guard Duck. This fella will make sure that nobody will interfere with nonsense, as you can tell by his stone cold face of intimidation… Okay, so probably not the best game face known to man, but hey, it’s certainly distracting with its cuteness, right? If somebody’s thinking of tackling the Queen, they might have second thoughts after seeing a Duck with one of those tall hats on, y’know? This one is a cute addition to the Duck Pond, but we are on the fence about paying 16 FV Cash for a plain Duck in clothing.

What about you, farmer? What’s your opinion on these items?

New Items: Chick-n-Egg, Peeky Bunny, and More

Author Major Category , , ,

To close out tonight’s update, we have the reviews on not one, but two different themes from tonight’s Market update! We will start out with the new Spring theme, where some lovely items from last year have resurfaced.

null

First up is the Chick-n-Egg, an old item that was a big, smash hit when it was released last year. It is a non-collectible Animal Decoration, very similar to the Birds that you can find on the perches except it does not have a “Hatch” option to crack it open. If you watch it long enough, a gigantic duckling will emerge from the egg and hop around before going back into hiding. It costs 14 FV Cash, which is way too expensive for this small Decoration; we think 8 FV Cash is more reasonable. It will give you only 170 EXP if you purchase it.

null

Now here is a similar item under the same theme. Right here we have a basket filled with goodies ranging from flowers to what looks like fake grass, where a bunny occasionally pops up from the depths of the basket itself. The name of this one is Peeky Bunny, and it costs 9 FV Cash, good for 150 EXP. Ouch! What’s with the light EXP totals lately? This one is cute but once again too expensive; this should clock in at 5 FV Cash, tops.

null

Now here are two more items from the Spring theme, with the Egg Fence wrapping around the Flower Egg Basket. The Egg Fence is really cute, working well as your standard white fencing that is graced by the presence of many colored eggs along the base of the fencing. The Flower Egg Basket, on the other hand, looks entirely too large. The pixels almost look stretched out, don’t they? We like the color arrangements, so you can’t really go wrong for the price. The Egg Fence costs 700 Coins, while the Flower Egg Basket clocks in at 10,000 Coins.

null

And lastly, we have a couple of new English Countryside items to divulge with you. On the left side, you will see the expensive archway that has a large bench under the threshold. This is dubbed the Garden Trellis Bench, and it costs 150,000 Coins. We love the lantern hanging above the bench on this one. As for the piece on the right, that is the affordable Bluebells Knoll, inspired by the popular English Countryside Bluebells Crop. 10,000 Coins is the toll of admission for this one. We highly recommend both of these items!

That wraps up tonight’s update! We’ll have more exciting content tomorrow!

New Items: New Forest Pony, Bunny Ewe, and More

Author Major Category , ,

Speaking of new items that everybody will want, there is yet another new Horse on the Market, as well as a brand new Sheep and more! Let us take a gander.

null

Here is the New Forest Pony! One of the things that we really love about this brand new Horse is that, if you look closely, one of its feet is a different color from the rest. This is a sleek, muscular Horse, something that we have seen a lot of lately, but due to the brown coat of the New Forest Pony, it is worthy of being on your farm. Being a Pony rather than a full-build, it is naturally much smaller compared to many of the other Horses on the Market as of late. It will cost you 24 FV Cash, should you decide to buy it, and yes, it produces its own Foal.

null

For all of your nutty Sheep Breeders out there who are looking for a fix on the Market, there is one that seems to be a bit boring for that particular task, but is certainly festive: the Bunny Ewe. You know that Cadbury chocolate commercial with all of those different animals dressed up with bunny ears? That is what this Bunny Ewe reminds us of. It looks like it would only produce white Lambs in the Sheep Pen, but we have not confirmed that as of this time. It costs 20 FV Cash on the Market.

null

Lastly, here is an adorable brand new addition to the FarmVille Ducks! This is the White Duckling, a mostly-white baby with little tan patches that make up the rest of him. This is an incredibly expensive addition to FarmVille’s Duck Pond at 16 FV Cash, though it does have a “Grow Duckling” option. The only problem? It doesn’t work, so we are not sure if it actually can be grown into brand new Ducks. Very strange!

What about you? Anything cool on the Market for you in terms of Animals?

New Items: Spring Egg Trees

Author Major Category , ,

It is time for some brand new items on the Wednesday evening Market update!

null

Ahh, now here is what we reported on yesterday. Previously reported as the Cream Egg Tree, this is the Spring Egg Tree, a nice little pseudo-Easter meta-theme with the Trees. These eggs might look like just your normal, average eggs nestled in the canopy of a high tree… well, not so much normal – more like pterodactyl eggs or something, because they are huuuuge! Still, they look rather boring, but once they’re ready, they will be entirely colored and varied, making it one of the prettiest Trees in FarmVille when it is ready to be harvested. This one is more expensive at 7 FV Cash, up from the typical 5 FV Cash.

null

Oy, we thought these Giant Trees were over with. We were spoiled with all of the cool Level 2 Trees, so color us disappointed at the return of Giant Trees, especially for such a cool concept. We’d love to see a Chocolate Bunny Tree or something as the Level 2 Tree instead. This one is a little larger than its Level 1 counterpart, and costs 12 FV Cash instead of the usual 10 FV Cash. It shares the same statistics as the Level 1 Tree, being 75 harvests to reach Level 1 of Tree Mastery, and it gives 150 Coins to you upon harvest, which is once every two days.

Buy the Level 1 Tree and grow your own Level 2 Trees in the Orchard.

New Items: English Mill and Spring Cottage

Author Major Category , , ,

As always, we’ve got the Buildings tab’s latest arrivals right here! Are they worth purchasing? Here are our reviews!

null

To all of you folks complaining about the overabundance of FV Cash items on the Market as of late, it looks like Zynga has listened to your statements and have delivered a very expensive, very lovely Coin item under the Buildings tab tonight with the introduction of the Spring Cottage, another item that is technically on the English Countryside theme, yet crosses over into the newly introduced Spring theme. We really enjoy the quaint look of this one, as it truly resembles a Building you can find across the countryside of England. You will be able to purchase this ivy-ridden Building for 350,000 Coins, good for 3,500 EXP. This one can be rotated.

null

Now, if you are searching for additional FV Cash Building, we do have a lovely returning structure that certainly matches our Home farm perfectly: the English Mill. This is a completely animated Building, as the watermill beside the homely structure, as it constantly pulls in water. The animations on the water are not that great, but we are just happy it is facing southeast instead of southwest, as it cannot be rotated. We love the cobblestone look crawling with ivy, too. This is a winner, even at 25 FV Cash, good for 2,500 EXP.

What say ye, FarmVille Poster? Winner or loser for this week’s Buildings tab?

New Items: English Forest, Castle Bridge, and More

Author Major Category , , , ,

Geez, what an update! There is plenty to take in on the Decorations page, entirely related to the meta-theme within the English Countryside theme revolving around the new King Castle that has arrived. Let’s take a peek!

null

This is one of the very few unrelated items on the Market tonight in accordance with the royalty theme. This is the English Forest. This is entirely decorative and massive, compiling a boatload of different pieces of greenery to create a true wilderness look about your farm. We truly wish these decorations were available for Coins, as they look so out of place when shoved by themselves as opposed to with a pack of the same Decoration. This costs 5 FV Cash, and gives 50 EXP.

null

Here is yet another piece that will look entirely out of place unless you are building the entire King Castle, complete with every item surrounding it. This is the Castle Bridge, yet another FV Cash item involved with creating this gigantic item in its entirety. Talk about an expensive endeavor! It features no animation, so you can rotate it all you like. You will have to fork over 7 FV Cash in order to obtain this one, which gives you only 70 EXP.

null

We’re about to nerd out, so bear with us, because this new Decoration in the English Countryside theme is, in our opinion, the best item to arrive out of everything tonight. This is the Sword Statue, and works much like the legend of the Sword in the Stone. As you can clearly see, a gigantic long sword is stuck within a boulder that is connected to the ground, and only but one hero can wield this blade… Highlander, we’re lookin’ at you. What you cannot see is the very cool glowing aura surrounding the sword that glows a teal color in pulsating fashion. This costs 4 FV Cash and is easily worth the cost.

null

Elsewhere on the Market outside of building that King Castle to its completion is the lone premium Coin item, the Royal Table. Of course, this is an obvious reference to the Round Table, wouldn’t you think? All we need is a King Arthur Gnome and we’ll be all set… we just hope he resembles Sean Connery, because that would be beyond awesome. You can own this nice decorative piece for only 150,000 Coins, which will give you 1,500 EXP – much more than the FV Cash Decorations in tonight’s update.

Lastly, here is the very many Moat pieces found to build around the King Castle; after all, what good is a castle without a little home security in the form of a waterbed to keep the black knight at bay? The Moat pieces range from corners in every direction (non-rotatable) to long streams and cut-offs (rotatable), ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 Coins. At least they’re Coins is all we can say, otherwise this would be beyond expensive to construct your own version of the Castle theme.
