New Items: Rainbow Bird Bath, Rainbow Waterfall, and More

Author Major Category , ,

The final portion of our update tonight – no, the English Countryside did not arrive despite the few changes that popped up over the course of the day – lies in the Market update surrounding the new Decorations. Let’s take a peek.

Heeey, look at that: we are starting out with an awesome Coin item tonight! In fact, there is only one premium FV Cash item on the Decorations tab. This item here is a winner, though, coasting on the theme of rainbows by transforming one of the cloud-based sprites into something spiffy: a birdbath! This is the Rainbow Bird Bath, a non-rotatable Decoration that features some nice animation with a parrot cleansing itself, dipping its wings in the water that is suspended in air thanks to a rainbow and a cloud structure. It costs 250,000 Coins, giving you 2,500 EXP in the process, and is worth every last Coin.

And here is that aforementioned lonely FV Cash item under the Decorations this week, and one of the first Decoration to incorporate some of the English Countryside Crops in its design, as we spot some of the Foxglove that we reported on earlier today around the structure. This is one of, if not the, nicest waterfalls available in FarmVille, especially for 18 FV Cash. It features a lot of animation due to the rippling waters that stretch out across the big body of water, and the pretty rainbow sets it off. Expect 1,800 EXP if you make the purchase, which we recommend – another stellar job by the FV art department.

Here come the very tiny Decorations that can be used to spruce up your farm! These two Decorations are quite obviously different from one another, with the Leprechaun Planters working in a very traditional fashion, as they house two types of flowers inside of a Leprechaun’s hat for a classier look than that of their tacky or care-free Rainbow Pinwheel. The Leprechaun Planter doesn’t do much for us, as it cannot be rotated, but we love the use of colors in the Rainbow Pinwheel. They can be yours for 10,000 Coins or 1,000 Coins, respectively.

Stay tuned to FarmVille Post for our usual honest insight on everything that hits the Market on Sundays and Wednesdays!

New Items: Rainbow Tree and Giant Rainbow Tree

Author Major Category , ,

We are back, feeling better and pounding out our gigantic report on the English Countryside for the past five hours. We are taking a momentary break from the new feature we had the privilege of previewing in order to divulge ourselves into some awesome new St. Patrick’s Day goodies!

null

Who doesn’t love some brand new Trees on a Sunday evening, especially when they are as wacky and zany as this new pair? This right here is the Rainbow Tree, the Level 1 version of these two new Trees, that attempts to prove there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow… well, there is at least the normal amount of Limited Edition Tree income when you harvest the rainbows from the Rainbow Tree, in that you will receive 150 Coins within two full days that it takes for rainbows to be ripe.

This begs the question: how do you know when rainbows are ripe? We’d love to know so we can pick up some good ones at the grocery store next time. Each one of the Rainbow Trees will cost you 5 FV Cash on the Market, and can be Mastered with a Level 1 Mastery of 75 harvests – as per usual with Limited Edition Trees.

null

Of course, the Level 2 equivalent of the Rainbow Tree is none other than the Giant Rainbow Tree, continuing the trend of huge Trees in FarmVille. We’re honestly sick and tired of seeing these, as it barely seems worth the space they take up on the farm, but at least Zynga wised up and saw the light by making the Giant Rainbow Tree on the smaller side, to where it is not towering over everything in sight. This one features the same exact stats as the Level 1 version: 75 harvests to the first Mastery level, 150 Coins upon harvest and it takes two days to be ready all for the price of 10 FV Cash.

We love the Level 1 version of the Tree, so go ahead and invest in it in order to produce Mystery Seedlings containing the bigger version.

New Items: Rainbow Fountain, Leprechaun Girl, and More

The fun’s still not stopping with just Animals and Trees, as a few really cool items are currently lurking on the Decorations page that will spruce up any farm for the upcoming holiday. Let’s take a peek at what there is to gobble up this week, shall we?

Our favorite Decoration of the update this week is the Rainbow Fountain, an absolutely marvelous fountain that is comprised of several tiers of clouds that house multiple trays of water, which form into rainbows that flow from the highest level all the way down to the lowest levels of the clouds. They feature a smooth animation that moves fluidly and looks terrific, but because of this animation, the Decoration cannot be rotated. Honestly, it doesn’t need to be: it looks perfect the way it is on any farm, and complements the Rainbow Trees very well. It costs 18 FV Cash and gives 1,800 EXP. Definitely grab this one.

For all of your Gnome lovers out there, you will be pleased to see that Zynga is continuing their support of the Gnome brand in this St. Patrick’s Day theme with a brand new Gnomette, the Leprechaun Girl. Despite the goofy name, the Leprechaun Girl features the same female Gnome model that we have all grown accustomed to, with sporting a red hairdo and a Leprechaun get-up. She will cost you 15 FV Cash and gives back 1,500 EXP for the purchase, but we only recommend this for the hardcore Gnome collectors.

Here is a returning Decoration from years past, as the Mossy Stone has made its second trip to the FarmVille Marketplace. We have used this one on our personal farm for around a year, as it has become an integral part of our man-made Koi Pond theme around our Buildings. It is a little big and bulky, and best used when set beside something to match it, like a body of water or some castles with ivy around them. Ivy and moss go hand-in-hand! It costs 50,000 Coins and is well worth the money. You will grab 500 EXP.

null

Lastly, the final item available solely on the Decorations tab is a new Coin item that can be used much like a planter to spruce up your farm on the cheap side of things, the Clover Flower Bed is available for only 10,000 Coins, making it an incredible bargain for touching up your farm in areas where it could use a little something extra. It won’t blow your visitors away, but it certainly could help create something noteworthy where barren land once was.

We’re not stopping until we’ve covered everything in this Sunday evening’s update! Stay tuned!
