New Items: Green Creek, Flowery Well, and More

Author Major Category , , ,

To finish up tonight’s Market update reviews, we will take a close look at the new Decorations that have arrived. There are a few good ones, so let’s take a gander.

The winner of the Decorations tab this week is the Green Creek, a brand new riverbed that spans a small stretch of space on your farmland. We love this one a lot due to the crazy foliage that branches off and stretches across this bed of water, be it from downed trees to contorted limbs that sway off in the direction of the wind. Our favorite is the tree to the south, which looks to be partially downed and growing across the water. This one cannot be rotated due to the awesome animation, and costs 18 FV Cash and gives out 1,800 EXP.

A few Coin options are on the Market this time around, with the most expensive option being the Flowery Well. This is a relatively small Decoration available for 80,000 Coins, with wild flowers growing around the wooden bucket catching the water dripping from the water pump above. The only problem is that this is one Decoration that could really use some animation, yet it has none; furthermore, it cannot even be rotated despise the lack of animation. This one is alright but nothing special. Should you choose to purchase it, you will receive 800 EXP.

One of the other available Coin items this week is the Flowery Archway, a really magnificent arch that is littered with glorious, bright pastel-colored flora. The pastel colors make some an item that has dual themes, working for both the English Countryside and the Spring theme. Without proper fencing, however, we have turned to the Market’s current fencing options to find that the Rhododendron works best when paired with it. You can purchase this for 20,000 Coins, giving you 200 EXP.

Lastly, we have a couple of smaller items that are incredibly affordable on any budget: the Hay Pile for 2,000 Coins and the Stone Bench for 10,000 Coins. The Hay Pile is nothing special, though it certainly looks cute enough when placed beside the English Countryside Dairy Farms. As for the Stone Bench, it looks incredibly cool when placed beside some of the garden-esque Decorations that have arrived throughout the English Countryside theme.

And that concludes our Wednesday review round-up!

New Items: Kelly Green Cow and Leprechaun Goat

Author Major Category , , ,

A few St. Patrick’s Day Animals have wandered onto the FarmVille Market tonight at the last moment, during the great last chance for the Irish holiday’s ongoing theme. One of them is a great, rare item from yesteryear than many missed out on, and the other is a brand new Goat!

The Kelly Green Cow used to be widely regarded as the rarest Cow in the land, but it has thankfully seen a second life on the Market. Decisions like these are always tough, as the items in question lose their distinct value and worth when they hit the Market a second time, but we personally appreciate the opportunity to obtain the items if we missed out on them during their initial Market run. In this case, we did not grab one last time, we so are happy to finally own a Kelly Green Cow. It produces the once-rare Calf that everybody wants, and can be obtained for 14 FV Cash. We say to jump on the chance to own it.

If old Cows aren’t your bag of tricks, you can always try one of the underappreciated original FarmVille Animals in its St. Patty’s best, the Leprechaun Goat. For whatever reason, we love Goats in FarmVille, and not just because they are cheaper than lawnmowers when it comes to keeping the grass trimmed. We truly hope that these guys get their own functional Building somewhere down the line. With this said, this particular Goat is nothing to write home about, as it’s your casual, stock Goat wearing a St. Patrick’s Day-related hat. Keep it away from the empty beer cups, as Goats will eat anything. It costs 14 FV Cash, if you decide to buy it.

Keep it tuned to FarmVille Post for more info throughout the night!

New Crop: Green Roses

Author Major Category ,

Tonight brings the return of a traditional Limited Edition Crop that we predicted would return many months ago: the Green Rose!

null

The Green Rose is a Limited Edition Crop under the St. Patrick’s Day theme, and one we fully expected to come back as far ago as Christmas. It seems that many of FarmVille’s Limited Edition, seasonally-themed Crops are returning due to the fact that exactly one year ago, you could not Master these Limited Edition goodies – so why not ring in their return with a nice li’l Mastery Sign?

Yes, this time around you will be able to Master the Green Roses. They cost 80 Coins to plant and produce 170 Coins upon harvest time, meaning you will get 90 Coins as strictly profit with each plot planted. They are a 1 Day Crop, and you will need to amass 300 harvests to reach the first level of Mastery. No word yet as to if these new flowers will produce Bushels to obtain Double Mastery or not.

Are you excited to see them return? We certainly are.

New Items: Knight Gnome, Green Willow Tree, and More

Let’s rattle off these Decorations while we still have electricity, shall we!?

null

First teased in the video showcase from Friday, which gave us a sneak peek at what to expect in this Sunday evening update, the Knight Gnome is one of the better specimen of themed Gnomes in recent memory. It is surely going to be a hit among Gnome collectors and non-collectors alike, appealing to just about anyone with a sense of adventure. It works well as a non-Gnome Decoration, too, simply because it is geared up for battle. It could almost work as a Scarecrow, too, couldn’t it? It costs 15 FV Cash, gives 1,500 EXP and cannot be rotated.

null

One of our most cherished favorites from the video showcase sneak peek was the Green Willow Tree, a non-Masterable, purely-Decoration tree that features a soothing animation, where gusts of wind blow along the branches, creating a relaxing sequence to stare at. This one costs 6 FV Cash, and we once again give a thumbs up to it; it is just as nice on our farm as it was in the video showcase, and stands out wonderfully if you collect a lot of various trees, since it is one of the few with animation.

null

For those of you without extra FV Cash to burn, there is one premium Decoration in the Market update tonight for Coins instead of Cash: the Mermaid Fountain. This is your typical Fountain Decoration with two key differences: A) it features a large, shooting effect with its water, as it sprays upward, and B) it features a Pig dressed as a Mermaid on the top of it… or shall we say, Merpig? This one is 240,000 Coins and is hard to resist, seeing as how cute that Merpig is. You will gain 2,400 EXP for the purchase, to boot.

null

Lastly, there is one small Decoration available for Coins that should not be overlooked amidst the other goodies: the Gumdrop Sprinkle. These are tiny items that can be places around your farm, sort of creating a fencing effect or even just placed at random to spruce up the place. We love using them to randomly decorate the surroundings, and at 8,000 Coins each, they are affordable. Go crazy with them!

The Mystery Game is full of repeated items, but we will deliver the images of them shortly!
