New Items: White Willow Tree and Crack Willow Tree

Author Major Category , , ,

Boy oh boy, this English Countryside theme is still ongoing! Not that we are complaining, it has been among the best in recent memory for themes, with a huge handful of wonderful new Horses and Trees, as well as a few new, awesome Decorations. Let’s get started with tonight’s update!

Under the Trees tab, we have a couple of brand new items for review. This is the White Willow Tree, the first iteration of the new pair that has hit the Market in tonight’s update. If this looks familiar, it is because it resembles the Green Willow Tree decorative tree that was previously made available. This one has zero animation, however, unlike the decorative visual counterpart. We’re glad to see this model turned into a functioning Tree, so we don’t mind the double dipping on the re-use of the model. This one is the Level 1 version of the pair, and costs 5 FV Cash.

The Level 2 Tree is also a pretty good one, though we prefer the White Willow Tree. This is the Crack Willow Tree, another absolute winner for the English Countryside theme. It almost resembles some sort of shrubbery, does it not? You can receive these for free by placing a White Willow Tree in an Orchard and receiving a Mystery Seedling from it. The two Trees, as always, share the same stats: 75 harvests to reach the first level of Mastery, a two day harvest time and 150 Coins per harvest in your pocket. Should you choose to buy this one, it will set you back 10 FV Cash.

These are both winners. At this rate, we will be sad to see the English Countryside theme depart.

New Items: Knight Gnome, Green Willow Tree, and More

Let’s rattle off these Decorations while we still have electricity, shall we!?

First teased in the video showcase from Friday, which gave us a sneak peek at what to expect in this Sunday evening update, the Knight Gnome is one of the better specimen of themed Gnomes in recent memory. It is surely going to be a hit among Gnome collectors and non-collectors alike, appealing to just about anyone with a sense of adventure. It works well as a non-Gnome Decoration, too, simply because it is geared up for battle. It could almost work as a Scarecrow, too, couldn’t it? It costs 15 FV Cash, gives 1,500 EXP and cannot be rotated.

One of our most cherished favorites from the video showcase sneak peek was the Green Willow Tree, a non-Masterable, purely-Decoration tree that features a soothing animation, where gusts of wind blow along the branches, creating a relaxing sequence to stare at. This one costs 6 FV Cash, and we once again give a thumbs up to it; it is just as nice on our farm as it was in the video showcase, and stands out wonderfully if you collect a lot of various trees, since it is one of the few with animation.

For those of you without extra FV Cash to burn, there is one premium Decoration in the Market update tonight for Coins instead of Cash: the Mermaid Fountain. This is your typical Fountain Decoration with two key differences: A) it features a large, shooting effect with its water, as it sprays upward, and B) it features a Pig dressed as a Mermaid on the top of it… or shall we say, Merpig? This one is 240,000 Coins and is hard to resist, seeing as how cute that Merpig is. You will gain 2,400 EXP for the purchase, to boot.

Lastly, there is one small Decoration available for Coins that should not be overlooked amidst the other goodies: the Gumdrop Sprinkle. These are tiny items that can be places around your farm, sort of creating a fencing effect or even just placed at random to spruce up the place. We love using them to randomly decorate the surroundings, and at 8,000 Coins each, they are affordable. Go crazy with them!

The Mystery Game is full of repeated items, but we will deliver the images of them shortly!
