If you thought the King Horse was FarmVille royalty, wait until you see where the real royalty resides under the Buildings tab.
Get ready for the most expensive item in recent memory on FarmVille: the King Castle. This is a bit of a head-scratcher in terms of scale; you will recall that several Buildings throughout the English Countryside theme have been oversized, especially when they cost more than 30 FV Cash.
The King Castle looks stunted in its growth, seeing as how it costs 40 FV Cash and it is, essentially, the same size as most other normal Buildings in the game. Now, we’re not one to love gigantic Buildings that take up too much space in the game, but when you are talking about a castle designed for royalty, shouldn’t it be the largest Building in the game? Just our two cents. It can be rotated and is an attractive design, but we just simply wish it were bigger. You will receive a whopping 4,000 EXP for purchasing this one.
Now, if you are going to buy the King Castle, it is almost an unwritten obligation to go for the gusto and complete the full set, right? If you decide to undertake this pricy mission of creating a royal farm for your Sheep to frolic along, we highly recommend investing in this Gatehouse, which perfectly matches the King Castle in every way for 20 FV Cash. We actually like this piece more than the King Castle, but it almost seems pointless on its own, you know? It’s like buying the middle piece of a train without an engine or caboose, you dig? Should you throw the Cash down for this one, you will receive 2,000 EXP.
Finally, an affordable Building for Coins in tonight’s incredibly expensive update. This is the Blacksmith, a very tiny cottage where the poor smithy dwells, awaiting the King’s orders to create more weaponry to protect the Queen and her land. This one’s cool but incredibly subtle, as it’s… well, dinky in size. It definitely will not stand out on a crowded farm, but it is a nice touch up to the royalty meta-theme. It costs 200,000 Coins and spits back 2,000 Coins.
