Mafia Wars New Home Screen
It looks like the Mafia Wars application gets a makeover along with the release of Mafia Wars Bangkok. Here is a look at the new screen:
That changes do not significantly impact the functionality of the game. The home page shows only relevant job that needs completing (Buy Off a Federal Agent) job in this case, and makes it easier to see new game news(on the right).
What the new screen actually accomplishes is that it presents special limited time jobs higher on the screen so that it becomes prominent for the player.
It seems that only a small percentage of accounts have this new user interface. As long as it reported no errors, and user comments are good on this new interface, it is likely that all accounts will be upgraded to the new version of interface. Although there is no official date, it lasted about a month between the test and Facebook application to scale, it is likely that this could be take some time.
